Following the acquisitions of Ed Davis, Jeremy Lin, and Carlos Boozer, the consensus is the Los Angeles Lakers are done making moves this summer. The team also brought back some familiar faces from last year’s squad in Nick Young, Jordan Hill, Wesley Johnson, Xavier Henry, and Ryan Kelly.

With all these players in the fold, potentially 13 in total with Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Robert Sacre, Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson included, it seems unlikely more players will be added to the roster at this point. Only 15 players are allowed on the roster for the regular season leaving space for two more spots once Johnson and Clarkson officially sign with the team.
Those two spots could ultimately be filled by training camp invites. Henry earned a spot on the team last year with an impressive showing in training camp.
One possibility for the Lakers might be veteran forward Michael Beasley, according to Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders:
Several teams have expressed interest in free agent Michael Beasley. Teams like the efficiency and maturity he showed last season in Miami.
Michael Beasley is currently training in LA with Kevin Durant. Lakers could make sense for Beasley. He’d be a good fit to fill out roster.
Beasley has bounced around the league the last few years with his latest team being the Miami Heat. The former second overall pick hasn’t lived up to expectations since being drafted by the Heat back in 2008.

The Lakers have been linked to Beasley numerous times over the past few years with the Kansas State product constantly being mentioned in trade rumors leading up to the NBA trade deadline every single year.
Last season, Beasley averaged career-lows in basically every statistical category. Beasley averaged 7.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. The 25-year-old played in only 55 games for the Heat rarely seeing the floor at 15.1 minutes per contest.
