The Dallas Mavericks broadcast team was less than impressed. Frustrated with their struggling team, at home, the media group made jeers at Kobe for attempting a leaning, one-legged shot, something that Maverick Dirk Nowitzki made famous. Kobe did not make the shot, but fans could hear the announcer say “Don’t do that in here. Don’t do that in this building.”
You may not have liked the shot, but the Lakers still won.
Unfortunately, both Steve Nash and Steve Blake have been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Indiana Pacers. It’s been almost a month since Nash was sidelined with the leg fracture sustained in the loss to the Portland Trail Blazers and it still remains uncertain at this point in time how much longer he’ll stuck watching from the sidelines. Kobe Bryant is waiting for the opportunity to play with his backcourt partner once again. Once Nash gets back on the floor, Kobe believes his game will change from facilitator/scorer to strictly scoring.
Bench players, like Antawn Jamison, and having a chance to show their talents with Nash and Blake out. Over the last few games, this vet has really made a difference during game time. Jamison’s offensive emergence during the past few games have been a great positive for the Lakers.
