After the second day of training camp, the Lakers performed 5-on-5 drills near the end of their session, including Dwight. Gasol believed the player looked great and could make an appearance in upcoming scrimmages. It’s definitely good news for Los Angeles, who will need Howard’s inside presence to make a legitimate run at the NBA Finals this season.
Remember Monday went Kobe Bryant started a media uproar by claiming this Lakers team is, well, his team? The drama hasn’t settled down, and Lakers Nation writer Daniel Buerge does his best to break down the kerfuffle and tell readers why Kobe’s comment were really not that bad. And just to clear the air, Bryant himself came out today to speak a little bit about the team chemistry. The starting five has been working remarkably together these past few practices, which, if the good vibes continue, will put a nail in the coffin of questionable team chemistry for good. Someone should tell Mark Cuban.
The season is starting soon, and Lakers Nation wants to make sure you look your best. To get fitted in Purple and Gold, make sure to take a look at the LN store for some cool pieces.
