Despite the exciting turn of events for Hill, two of the Laker’s starters are out and will most likely not play in tomorrow’s game.
Kobe Bryant received an injury in Sunday’s preseason game against the Kings. Here, he strained and bruised his right foot. Although at first the injury didn’t look significant, is has become enough of a problem to make sure Kobe will not be playing this coming game. Listed as day to day, fans still hope for a fast Kobe recovery.
Howard will also miss this divisional preseason showdown with the Clippers on Wednesday due to soreness in his back. Uh oh. Coming out strong on Sunday with 19 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks, Howard may have overexerted himself. It is much better to miss this game and play it safe when it comes to his back injury than try and play even a bit sore. Good news though; the superstar center is expected to start against the Kings on Thursday at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego. Although this could change, it’s a good sign for Lakers fans.
Amy Halvorsen brings her A game this week, as she talks about the latest happening on and off the court with the Lakers. Check out her video for some Lakers facts, talk about team pranks, and overall preseason highlights.
