The rumor mill has been in quite a tizzy lately, as the Lakers are seemingly looking at every available option on their limited budget. We’ve heard names from Chase Budinger to Francisco Garcia, as the team is clearly looking for some outside shooting help.

Another name that has surfaced is Sasha Vujacic, who was a member of the Lakers after being drafted by Los Angeles with the 27th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft. And, according to Arash Markazi of ESPN Los Angeles, he might be looking to return to the Lakers.
Sasha Vujacic is back in LA and has been in touch with the Lakers. Source said he’ll be in NBA next season and Lakers are his top choice.

Since leaving the NBA following the 2011 season, Vujacic has been playing in overseas in the Turkish Basketball League. As Markazi mentioned, Vujacic will likely be back in the Association next season, it just depends on where he’ll end up. With the Lakers clearly in need of some outside shooting help, a Vujacic/Lakers reunion isn’t outside the realm of possibility.
Vujacic is best known in Los Angeles for his two clutch free throws to seal off the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals.
Another former Laker that might be making a comeback is guard Jordan Farmar, who has also been linked in talks with the Lakers so far this offseason.
