Steve Nash has been sidelined since the opening week of the NBA season with a minor fracture in his leg which he suffered on Halloween night against Portland. Now, it seems that Nash may be getting close to making his return.
According to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com and Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Nash looks much stronger on the court and could possibly return as soon as the team’s upcoming road trip.
Mike D’Antoni said it’s “possible” that Steve Nash plays on the coming 4-game road trip.

There’s no question that Nash’s return will have a big impact on the struggling Lakers, but D’Antoni doesn’t want that to cloud his judgement and allow him to bring back Nash too soon, possibly risking further injury.
D’Antoni thinks Nash is starting to allow himself more optimism about returning, but D’Antoni “wants it so bad”, doesn’t want to embellish.

One thing is still certain, Nash is out for tonight’s game against the Utah Jazz, along with teammate Pau Gasol.
