Fourteen games into the 2014-15 NBA season, the Los Angeles Lakers have been decimated by injuries. The team has lost Steve Nash, Julius Randle and Xavier Henry to season-ending injuries and as a result, were awarded two disabled player exceptions.

With the Lakers looking to improve their roster, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports says the team is working on a one-year deal to bring back a familiar face, Earl Clark:

Heading into the 2012-13 season, there were championship expectations for the Lakers who acquired Dwight Howard and Steve Nash that off-season. Unfortunately, the team struggled, but Clark was one of the few bright spots as he averaged 7.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in 36 starts.

While Clark found success in Los Angeles, he signed a long-term deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers the following season where he was eventually traded to the Philadelphia 76ers and waived.

This season, Clark played for the Houston Rockets’ D-League affiliate where he is averaging 28.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 blocks in 35.8 minutes.
