Lakers Set To Meet President Obama

The Los Angeles Lakers will cap-off their 2009-2010 championship with a meeting with President Obama.  The Lakers are back for round two, but this time the ceremony will be held at the Boys & Girls Club in Washington D.C.

President Obama is known as an avid basketball fan, and he is excited to meet the Lakers for the second time.  The players may even get a chance to play some one-on-one with the President, which will certainly entertain the crowd.

The Lakers will meet with the President today at 3:00 P.M. EST/ 12:00 P.M. PST; the ceremony can be seen live on NBA TV and NBA.com.

After their meeting with President Obama, the Lakers will begin preparing for a match-up against John Wall and the Washington Wizards.
