Since retiring from the NBA in 2011, Shaquille O’Neal has found a new passion, and that is entertainment.

The former Los Angeles Lakers great is an analyst on TNT’s Inside the NBA with Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith, and he has also appeared in many movies.

One thing that he has never done though is being covered in leaves in the wilderness, until now.

The 44-year-old recently appeared on Bear Grylls’ show Running Wild, where he went into the wilderness with Grylls. While in the wild Grylls came up with the idea to cover the seven-foot former center in leaves, and while O’Neal was less than thrilled about the idea, he went along with it:

Along with Running Wild, Shaq has also appeared on many other shows including Curb Your Enthusiasm, My Wife and Kids, Fear Factor, as well as feature films Grown Ups 2, Scary Movie 4 and Jack and Jill, among many others.

One thing that is certain with Shaq is that no matter what he does it is bound to get a laugh, even if it is just sitting in the wild covered in leaves.
