Prior to the Los Angeles Lakers losing to the Dallas Mavericks, the talk of the night was whether Steve Nash would record 12 dimes and slide into third on the all-time assists category. Nash ended up four short of Mark Jackson’s third place, but Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni expects Nash to play again this year, despite reports that Friday night’s game would be his last of the season.
Nick Young rolled his ankle in the loss and is unsure if he’ll play on Sunday against the Clippers. Young also joked that he could’ve helped Nash with that assist record if he would’ve passed him the ball more. Robert Sacre had a rough offensive night, missing some open shots, courtesy of passes from Nash, but insisted he’s confident with Nash controlling the floor. Kent Bazemore continues to rave about the character of his teammates. Check out our post-game videos below and don’t forget to subscribe to our Lakers Nation YouTube Channel!
