The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder Thursday night, despite leading by as many as 15 points. The Lakers couldn’t be criticized for their lack of effort in this one. Six of the eight available Lakers scored in double-digits and five Lakers starters scored at least 13 points.
Kendall Marshall had a career-tying 17 assists and is ready to rest during All-Star weekend. Mike D’Antoni applauded his players’ effort and just hopes they can be rewarded. Shawne Williams isn’t accepting moral victories, and Wes Johnson talks about the challenge of guarding Kevin Durant.
