With James heading to the World Cup over the weekend, the Heat and Cavaliers expect his decision before he leaves for Brazil according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski:

According to reports, James is taking a while to decide because of Dan Gilbert’s infamous letter about him after he left Cleveland four years ago. There is belief James would already be heading back home if it weren’t for that letter.

With the Heat losing in five games to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals, Pat Riley and company are trying their best to keep the four-time MVP in South Beach. So far this summer, the Heat have added Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger in addition to drafting Shabazz Napier.
