Lakers Bench Outscores Starters, Larry Nance Career-High In Loss To Bulls
The Los Angeles Lakers dropped their second straight game at home Sunday night, a 118-110 loss to the Chicago Bulls, led by 40 points from Jimmy Butler. Lou Williams led the Lakers for the seventh time this season, with his 25 points off the bench, while Larry Nance Jr. also chipped in 18 from the second unit, a new career-high.

One of the hot topics of conversation after the game, was that the Lakers starters were outscored 86-51 by Chicago’s first unit. Rookie Brandon Ingram though says they’re not worried about their scoring, but rather the defense. Forward Julius Randle said they took a step back in their defensive progress tonight.

Head coach Luke Walton was not happy with his team’s defense, or that they continued their bad habit of committing fouls and sending players to the free throw line.

D’Angelo Russell, who sat out of Friday night’s game with a sore knee was back in the starting unit on Sunday. Russell gives an update on his knee, which sound like is still bothering him
