Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Dallas Mavericks Postgame (videos)

Kobe Bryant sat out with a sore shoulder for the Los Angeles Lakers final matchup against Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks this season, grinning from the sidelines as Nowitzki hit his patented game-winning baseline jumper over sophomore Julius Randle. After the game, Randle, who recorded his 16th double-double of the season (16 points, 11 rebounds) talks about what it was like to go up against the future Hall of Famer and what he talked with Bryant about before the game.

Nowitzki also details his impressions of the young power forward, who’s recorded three-doubles in his last five games. Of course, although Nowitzki didn’t get to match up with Bryant one last time, he recalls what he’ll miss most about the opponent he’s gone up against for so many years.

Plus, D’Angelo Russell talks about whether or not he’s figuring out how to best use his length to his advantage. And, Byron Scott talks about Russell’s confidence and making sure it doesn’t teeter over the edge of cockiness.
