The Los Angeles Lakers face off with the Denver Nuggets on Friday night with just 11 games remaining in the season. With Kobe Bryant’s retirement looming, the young Lakers are hoping to string together a few wins and conclude the season on a high note.
D’Angelo Russell should be particularly aggressive in this game as he will be matched up against rival Emanuel Mudiay. Russell was selected second in the 2015 NBA Draft while Mudiay went seventh, but both were compared to each other ad nauseam.
Both will be looking to prove that they are the superior player, which should make for an entertaining evening.
