After getting their first win of the season, the Los Angeles Lakers host the Denver Nuggets at Staples Center in what will be the last game of a four-game home stand. Kendall Marshall gets his second start as a Laker after a career night against the Jazz. The Lakers have lost their last five games against the Nuggets and with a win tonight, they can improve to 9-9 at home.
First Quarter
Pau Gasol has 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in the 1st quarter. Not sure how he's not worth a future 1st for a playoff team.

LAL come out hot tonight (12 of 18 FG's), with Gasol hitting 5 of 9 for 10 points with his 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. LAL up 25-18.

Pau Gasol is still a Laker and he's got 15 points and six boards at the first half as LA leads the Nuggets.

A laser from Marshall got Williams a wide-open corner 3 to allow LAL to close the half up 61-60. Kendall had 9 assists in 17 minutes.

Third Quarter
Marshall has 10 assists, sure, but he’s done it in just 18 minutes. That’s the more impressive thing IMO. Good stuff from K-Marsh.

Denver has opened up a 74-67 lead midway through the 3rd. @KButter5 is up to 11 assists, his latest coming to @Bobby_Sacre for an easy hoop.

Hill's starting to do some damage in Denver's paint, his and-1 following 2 FT's on the previous trip. LAL back w/in 6 and a FT coming.

At the end of the 3rd, Lakers trailing by 10 points to the Denver Nuggets.
