The Los Angeles Lakers began their 2014-15 campaign Monday night with a preseason matchup with the Denver Nuggets. Byron Scott made his debut as head coach for the Lakers and sent out Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Wesley Johnson, Carlos Boozer and Jordan Hill as his starting lineup. Checkout the highlights below:
First Quarter
Kobe's follow up was better. A stepback J over Afflalo

Boozer's Ho Grant jump shot is pretty reliable

Game Score: Lakers 27 Nuggets 29
Second Quarter
Kobe and Nash looked really good in the 1st Q, and Julius Randle has already made two nice plays inside in the 2nd, including the big dunk.

Davis has length, a good motor, and a nice ability to get into the gaps of a defense. Quite a useful player.

A pretty reverse layup from Julius Randle was his third FG of the 2nd Q. His first step is so quick, blew by his defender again.

Game Score: Lakers 51 Nuggets 54
Third Quarter
Man, if Kobe can get to his spots he is unstoppable. He's made himself so efficient and reliable in mid-post.

Game Score: Lakers 76 Nuggets 72
Fourth Quarter
Wayne Ellington's got this you guys. Don't sweat it.

Ed Davis just showed & contained on the P&R then slid back to the rim to find his man & block a shot at the cup. Fantastic sequence on D.

The dunk by Julius Randle to seal the win for the Lakers.
