D'Angelo Russell Says It's All 'Business,' No More Having A '19 Yr Old Kid Approach'

The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets met in a preseason tilt on Friday, which saw the Nuggets walk away with the victory after staging a fourth-quarter comeback. Now, the two teams meet again, and the Lakers will be hoping to return the favor.

D’Angelo Russell was the star of the previous contest, scoring 21 points to go with four rebounds and five assists. However, his draft-class rival Emanuel Mudiay will try to turn the tide and gain the upper hand. Mudiay struggled on Friday, scoring just four points, and will certainly be geared up for a bounce-back performance.

Denver’s Danilo Gallinari and Kenneth Faried did not play previously, as Denver opted to rest them, but if they play tonight the feel of the game will be greatly changed. Similarly, Lakers forward Luol Deng sat out the previous contest due to a bruised knee, and if he plays we should see him slide back into the starting lineup.
