The Los Angeles Lakers got their stint in the Las Vegas Summer League off to a phenomenal start when they decimated the New Orleans Pelicans in game one. Now, a marquee matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers looms, pitting the Lakers’ number two overall pick Brandon Ingram against Philadelphia’s first overall pick Ben Simmons.
Ingram will look to build upon the success that he had against the Pelicans, where the game seemed to come easy to him. It will be interesting to see how they handle the passing that Simmons brings, and bigs Larry Nance Jr. and Ivica Zubac will surely have to be ready to contest at the rim.
