The Portland Trail Blazers went on a 37-24 run in the third quarter and it was all downhill from there as the Los Angeles Lakers added another loss to their 2016-17 season, falling 97-81. The Lakers struggled to get their shots to fall, shooting just 23% from three-point range, with just two Lakers scoring over 10 points. Plus, the Blazers crushed the Lakers on the boards, who got out-rebounded 61-42.

D’Angelo Russell led the way with 22 points (8-19), while Tyler Ennis had his best game of the year, finishing with a season-high 14 points. After the game, Ennis talks about his older brother who has made it to the NCAA Final Four and what he’s been able to take away individually with the opportunities he’s been given on the floor.

Head coach Luke Walton discusses the difficulty for younger players to buy in defensively and what he saw from Russell’s performance. Ivica Zubac, who started in his ninth game this season, admits that he didn’t anticipate to be starting for the Lakers in his rookie year.
