The Los Angeles Lakers will be hosting the Sacramento Kings tonight in what would be the first 3-game winning streak of the season. The Kings have had a rough season so far and are coming off a loss to the Clippers yesterday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Lakers are coming off a win against the Golden State Warriors and can improve to .500 tonight. Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash continue to be sidelined and Chris Kaman will once again sit out with a sore back.
Against DeMarcus Cousins in the post, Pau Gasol and Jordan Hill will both need to protect the rim and not allow the Kings speedy guards to get to the rim with ease. With a three-game road trip starting Tuesday, tonight is a pivotal game for the Lakers.
Let’s get to the highlights.
