With the 2014-15 season nearing an end, the Los Angeles Lakers continued to face turmoil with only two games left. Last night, the purple and gold not only lost against the Dallas Mavericks, but also Dwight Buycks to a fractured finger — marking the ninth season ending injury for the Lakers.
On the second night of a back-to-back, the Lakers flew up north to face in-state rivals, the Sacramento Kings. The Kings who hold a 27-53 record, only six wins better than the Lakers, defeated the team in their last matchup in October. Without key players like DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay, the Lakers faced the Kings in hopes for a victorious end of the season.
