Fueled behind their defense and Julius Randle’s 25 points, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Sacramento Kings, 98-94 on Friday night, improving their winning streak to three games. Larry Nance Jr. finished with a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with his seven points and three steals and Brandon Ingram (who was on a minutes restriction for his knee tendinitis) finished with 14 points in his 25 minutes.
After the game, head coach Luke Walton discusses when Randle is at his best and what they need from him on the court moving forward. Randle talks about the Lakers finally learning how to close games and move away from isolation basketball.
Nance Jr. gives his thoughts on why they’re finally starting to see it come together at the end of the season. Ingram is asked about the feedback he’s been receiving from coaches as of late and what he’s hoping to work on in the offseason.
