GM Danny Ferry of the Atlanta Hawks might be the next in line to feel the wrath of the NBA after making some controversial comments about Luol Deng. Former Laker and current Los Angeles Dodgers owner, Magic Johnson, believes that Ferry’s remarks about Deng is grounds for dismissal, via Twitter:

Magic was partly involved in the Sterling situation with the former Clippers owner making racist remarks about the five-time NBA champion. Those comments were leaked to the public by V. Stiviano essentially sealing the deal in terms of the league having the grounds to force the sale of the Clippers franchise.

As for the Hawks situation, co-owner Bruce Levenson is selling his interest in the team due to an inappropriate email that he voluntarily reported to league officials. Ferry’s comments referring to Deng was only recently released causing a stir that may ultimately result in the termination of his role with the Hawks.

With no tolerance for racism, Ferry will likely receive disciplinary action from the league at some point.
