Matt Barnes’ Knee Still Not Fully Healthy

The Los Angeles Times’ Mark Medina writes that Matt Barnes believes his knee is not yet fully healed. Barnes said that his injury is about 98% healed and that it will take more time until he can get back to full form.

Barnes was limited toward the end of the season with the bum knee and he has made an effort to rehab the injury during the off-season. The Lakers will need a full effort from Barnes this season and they hope he can be a consistent scorer and a potent defender.

Barnes came to the team with high expectations, but it is fair to say that he has not live up to expectations so far.
