Metta World Peace Gets Lucky Bounce On Dunk; Kisses Fan’s Hand

The Los Angeles Lakers were finally able to record their first win of 2013 on Sunday night at Staples Center by taking down the Cleveland Cavaliers in convincing fashion. Along with snapping a six-game losing streak, the Lakers witnessed the return of Dwight Howard, a motivated Kobe Bryant on the defensive end of the floor and Metta World Peace entertaining the crowd as usual.

Although World Peace’s numbers weren’t all that impressive offensively, with only eight points against the Cavs, the veteran small forward recorded a game-high four steals and had arguably the most entertaining highlight of the night.

World Peace stole the ball from second-year guard Kyrie Irving on the defensive end and started a break against Irving, ending with unusual dunk that bounced straight up in the air and fell right through the hoop. Following the dunk, World Peace walked into the crowd to kiss a fan’s hand.
