Metta World Peace on Conan: “I Deserve the Suspension”

On Monday night, suspended Lakers forward Metta World Peace appeared on Conan O’Brien’s late night talk show. He was originally going to appear several weeks ago, but after being suspended for elbowing James Harden he decided not to.

During the interview, World Peace mentioned that he hadn’t contacted Harden since the incident for a variety of reasons. However, he did go on to say that he felt he deserved the suspension he received.
