While Griffin has not retaliated on the court, the Clippers All-Star was seen outside of a night club in October grabbing the phone and throat of a paparazzi according to TMZ. As a result, Griffin has been officially charged with battery via Ryan Parker of the Los Angeles Times:

While the Clippers’ start to the season has been a roller coaster ride already, this incident does not help things for the other team in Los Angeles. The Clippers have started off at 4-3 which is poor by their standards headed into the 2014-15 campaign. Now that outside issues have been added to the mix in Lob City, the team will look to demonstrate resilience.

It has yet to be reported how the Clippers organization will handle this situation and a court date has been issued for December 8th.
