The NBA trade deadline is mere hours away and the trades have already started rolling in. So far the biggest trade involved Aaron Afflalo going to Portland, but other moves are going down as well.

The latest trade involves a swap of veteran point guards as Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Sacramento Kings have agreed to trade Ramon Sessions to the Washington Wizards for Andre Miller:

The Kings recently hired George Karl to be the team’s new head coach and he and Miller have an excellent relationship from their days with the Denver Nuggets. Miller had fallen out of favor in Washington lately as Garrett Temple had taken his spot in the rotation, making him expendable.
In Sessions, the Wizards get a reliable, veteran backup point guard to hold down the fort when All-Star John Wall needs a break. The Wizards are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference, but with no clear favorite, are hoping to strengthen their roster in order to make a serious playoff run.
New Kings coach George Karl will be trying to create a winning culture in Sacramento and Miller will undoubtedly be a help. He has been all around the league and his presence in the locker room will help the young Kings such as DeMarcus Cousins, Ben McLemore and Nik Stauskas.
