NBA Power Rankings: Can You Say Chi City?

5. Indiana Pacers (7): Indiana continues their undefeated record at home at 5-0 and have an impressive 9-3 record on the season. With wins against the 76ers and the Celtics, could the Pacers remain a top 10 team?

4. Orlando Magic (5): Dwight Howard and the Magic continue to improve after defeating Portland and Golden State. In case you missed it, Howard put up record breaking numbers against Golden State, including 45 points, 23 rebounds, four steals, three assists and two blocks, tying his career high for points and setting a new personal best in free throws made.

3. Philadelphia 76ers (15): The 76ers are now 8-2 in their last 10 games and continue to hold their undefeated record at home. Last week I was skeptical about where to rank this team but a solid two week performance lands them among the league’s top contenders.

2. Oklahoma City Thunder (3): It seems like Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant were able to squash their problems and find out a way to keep winning. The Thunder finished the week at 4-0 and have solidified themselves as a top team in the Western Conference.

1. Chicago Bulls (2): With five games in seven days this team went 5-0 on the week and looked very impressive behind their leader Derrick Rose. They currently have the best record in the NBA and have shown no signs of slowing down in the following week.
