NBA Power Rankings: Kobe-less Lakers Bounce Back

30. Charlotte Bobcats (30): The losses continue to pile up for the Bobcats, who are still flirting with the possibility of becoming the worst team in NBA history. It’s sad how people can’t say “the Bobcats” without laughing a little.

29. Washington Wizards (29): Washington is 14-46, giving them the second-worst record in the NBA only to the potential recording-breaking Bobcats. Then again, what else would you expect from the Wizards?

Team Maloof28. Sacramento Kings (27): This stadium situation has made an ugly season for the Kings even uglier. The city is demoralized and the players have given up. Their season finale against the Lakers could be the franchise’s last game in Sacramento.

27. Minnesota Timberwolves (26): Any promise that the Timberwolves’ 2011-2012 season had is still be sullied by a current nine-game losing streak. Unlike the Lakers, Minnesota wasn’t able to overcome the loss of their impact player.

26. Cleveland Cavaliers (28): The only reason the Cavaliers moved up at all from last week is because other teams moved down. They’re still among the NBA’s worst teams and have only won three of their last 16 games.
