There seems to be no end to the Carmelo Anthony saga with the Chicago Bulls now emerging as a threat to the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers once again.

According to Mike McGraw of the Daily Heard, Carmelo appears to renewed interest in signing with the Bulls:
Hearing the Stephen A. Smith report is accurate. Carmelo may have been leaning elsewhere, but regained interest in #Bulls.

The consensus heading into NBA free agency was that Carmelo would do the rounds with interested teams and then sign with the Knicks. Yesterday, it appeared that would be the case with a report coming to light about Carmelo being on the verge of returning to New York.
It comes as no surprise Carmelo is still up in the air about his decision with Chicago emerging as a potential destination once again. The Bulls would be a great fit for the superstar as he would provide the offensive firepower the team has been missing, but the star forward would have to take a discount to join Derrick Rose and company in the Windy City.

So although the Lakers are still in the mix for Carmelo, it may have gotten that much tougher to sign him with the Bulls becoming a legitimate candidate once again.
There’s been no timeline for Carmelo’s decision as he continues to weigh his options in free agency.
