Only three games remain in arguably the most disappointing season in Lakers history. The Memphis Grizzlies will travel to Los Angeles in order to face the Lakers in their last home game at the Staples Center and Nick Young hopes the fans come out to see him in potentially his last game at home in a Lakers uniform.

Young said the following about the last game according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:
Nick Young: "Our last home game is Sunday. I hope the fans come out and see 'Swaggy P,' one last time."

As arguably one of the best players on the squad this season, the future remains uncertain for the sixth man. Young will likely opt-out of his deal with the Lakers this summer making him an unrestricted free agent with potentially quite a few teams interested in his services.
Young currently has a $1.2 million player option with the Lakers for next season, but it is no secret that he’s worth considerably more and wants more long-term security moving forward. The veteran guard hasn’t ruled out a return to the Lakers, but will likely receive enticing offers from around the league.
It remains to be seen if a new deal can get done between Young and the Lakers, but the team’s sixth man has expressed an interest to stay in Los Angeles long-term.
After the matchup with the Grizzlies on Sunday, the Lakers hit the road for the final two games. Young and company will face the Utah Jazz on Monday and will finish the season against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
