PHOTOS: Kobe Bryant And Rajon Rondo Have Breakfast In Boston

Rajon Rondo

After losing to the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Boston Celtics on Friday. While both teams have struggled this season, it is always a battle between the two greatest franchises in NBA history, regardless of their records.

With a day off before the Lakers and Celtics collide, Kobe Bryant and Rajon Rondo were seen grabbing breakfast. Here is the photo of the two stars via Baxter Holmes of ESPN Los Angeles:

Despite their battles in two NBA Finals, there is mutual respect between Kobe and Rondo. Both players have praised each other through the years, but it is rather interesting to see them getting breakfast together.

While the trade deadline is in February, Rondo has been rumored to be the star most likely to be traded this season. The All-Star point guard becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer and with the Lakers having another off-season with ample cap space, Los Angeles could be a potential destination.

In fifteen games this season, Rondo is averaging 8.3 points, 10.9 assists and 7.4 rebounds in 32.8 minutes.
