Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant continues his tour in Shanghai, China entertaining the crowds of die-hard fans of the five-time NBA champion. Kobe is in China to promote the Nike RISE campaign and recently helped open a basketball court in his honor, according to KobeTeam.com:

Nike opens up ”Bryant Court” in Shanghai. Kobe was there to personally help bring the court to life.

Kobe’s popularity in China is at an all-time high. Not only has Kobe’s popularity reached another level with the superstar recently giving fans in China a chance to face him one-on-one, but the Lakers will likely receive a boost in exposure in the country as well.

Jeremy Lin was traded to Los Angeles this summer making the Lakers the team to watch for NBA fans in China heading into the 2014-15 season. Lin may ultimately be the starting point guard for the Lakers playing alongside Kobe in the backcourt come October.
