Nike unveils the Nike Basketball Elite Series, featuring the Nike Kobe X Elite.

Three colorways are unveiled including the Kobe X Team, Kobe X Elevate, and Kobe X Rose Gold.

The Kobe X Elite features a return to Nike Flyknit upper construction with dynamic Flywire technology which allows for superior strength, breathability and support.

The X version of the Flyknit Elite is the first Flyknit basketball shoe constructed with recycled polyester yarn.

New construction methods, state-of-the-art materials and technical innovations. Each colorway with direct insights from Kobe Bryant, each with their own adaptation.

The Kobe X Elite features similar components which made the Nike Kobe 9 a global success, ‘dynamic traction,’ ‘hybrid cushioning system’ (with new Lunarlon, Nike Zoom Air and Nike Free-inspired siping combined), with a brand new modern look resulting in a new Flyknit Kobe X groundbreaking shoe.

The Nike Basketball Elite Series Team Collection features a purple/white team-inspired colorway, the Nike Basketball Elite Series Elevate Collection includes a white/green/blue Kobe X colorway and the Nike Kobe X comes in black in the Nike Basketball Elite Series Rose Gold Collection.

Three collections, the first Kobe X Elite, part of the Nike Basketball Team Collection launches April 18 featuring team colors, the second Kobe X Elite features blue hues as a nod to the sky launching May 15, followed by the Nike Elite Series Rose Gold Collection, available June 5, with inspiration from Kobe’s championship journey.
