Poll Results: Lakers With The Most Successful L.A. Summer?

It’s been an exciting summer in the City of Angels. The Los Angeles Kings won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. The Lakers acquired Steve Nash and Dwight Howard, once again positioning themselves as favorites in the NBA. And, not to be outdone, the Dodgers acquired Adrian Gonzalez and Josh Beckett from the Boston Red Sox as they search for their first World Series appearance since 1988.

So which L.A. team had the most successful summer? We asked our Facebook followers who they felt had the most exciting summer in Los Angeles.

Not surprisingly, Lakers Nation felt the Lakers had the most successful summer in Los Angeles. I guess I probably shouldn’t be surprised by these results considering the audience.

Still, of the 1,945 votes, 1,641 of them were for the Lakers over the Dodgers and Kings.

While we won’t get to see what the Lakers’ summer will yield completely until the end of next season, there’s no question that the buzz around L.A. surrounding all three teams is near an all-time high.
