San Diego prosecutors are reviewing allegations filed by a man who claimed Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant injured him at a Carmel Valley church to see if any charges will be pressed.
Spokesperson for the city attorney’s office, Gina Coburn, said the case is still in under review. The case was handed over to the office just a few weeks ago.
Police say Kobe Bryant thought the man was taking pictures of him at the church, so he took the phone away as a result. Later, the unidentified man went to the hospital claiming that he had wrist pains due to his altercation with Bryant.
Kobe, however, has denied the allegations.
