By now, Los Angeles Lakers fans are quite familiar with their 19-year-old, seven-foot Croatian center, Ivica Zubac. Drafted with the 32nd pick in the 2016 NBA draft, Zubac didn’t start playing big minutes until about mid-January, less than a month ago.
Prior to that, Zubac spent his time gaining experience and working on his conditioning with the L.A. D-Fenders, going back and forth between the NBA and the Development League. Zubac also spent a lot of time with special assistant Bill Bertka, taking advantage of his unique skill set by adding the skyhook to his game.
Over the past few months, we’ve been recording practice footage of the Lakers prized rookie, during scrimmages, while he’s working on his post moves or working on his skyhook.
Go inside the practice facility with us, as we give you a quick look inside what Zubac’s like at practice.
