Report: Jason Kapono to Sign with Lakers on Friday

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports the Lakers have reached an agreement with free agent Jason Kapono.

Kapono was seen working out at the Lakers practice facilities earlier this week. Kapono’s deal with Los Angeles will be for the veteran’s minimum.

The official announcement cannot be made until Friday when the free agency period officially begins.

Kapono won the NBA three-point competition in 2007 and 2008, and spent the last several seasons as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers.
