Ron Artest is the man, he does what he wants and doesn’t care if you like it or not.  Artest is still celebrating his first title and it looks as though he won’t stop partying until training camp starts.  However, Artest partied a little to fast yesterday, literally.  Artest was pulled over after he was driving an Eagle Roadster, whose registration was expired. Nevertheless, the car was not even registered to Artest, by actually some guy in Tennessee.  The cop who pulled Artest over had a hard time keeping a straight face but her was happy that Artest had is helmet on.  Well done, Ron-Ron, well done.

The Latest on the Lakers

The Lakers have signed their rookie Derrick Caracter, for good reason.  Caracter is a big body and can really help the Lakers next season.  However, the team sees something special in Caracter, they believe he can be just as effective as Andrew Bynum. [OC Register Lakers Blog]
