Ronnie Price On Jordan Clarkson: ‘A Young Up-And-Coming NBA Guard’

Eventually, veteran Ronnie Price and rookie Jordan Clarkson became the team’s main point guards. At his exit interview on Tuesday, Price complimented rookie Jordan Clarkson and said the NBA should be on notice according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

Clarkson has had an excellent opportunity to learn from some true NBA veterans. He has worked with Steve Nash on a few occasions, but Price was around day-in and day-out pushing Clarkson in practice and helping him grow.

Price was one of head coach Byron Scott’s favorite players as Scott consistently praised Price for his toughness and defensive intensity, something Scott loves. A late signing right before training camp, Price played well and earned a starting role with the team. He has spoken about being willing to come back in a reserve role for the team, but no one knows if that will come to fruition at this time.
