Rumors: Vanessa Bryant and La La Anthony Dine Together In West LA

Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony are very good friends off the court and their wives seem to be friends as well. Vanessa Bryant and La La Anthony had dinner together without their husbands in West Los Angeles.

They has a dinner date with recording artist Kelly Rowland, but Vanessa and Lala left Madeo restaurant together.

Although this might be a casual dinner outing, one cannot help to think that this could potentially help the Lakers land Carmelo Anthony after this season. If Vanessa could help convince La La that the Lakers and Los Angeles would be the best destination for the Anthony family, the Lakers might have a real shot at getting Carmelo to leave New York.

While it is still a long shot, a friendship between both wives can only help the Lakers’ pitch. Carmelo went to Syracuse and has always shown his desire to play for the Knicks; however, with the appeal of playing for the Lakers with Bryant, living in Los Angeles, and the Lakers potentially signing another max player, the Lakers’ pitch could be very intriguing for Carmelo and Lala.
