June 15, 2010 - Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES - epa02204205 Los Angeles Lakers' Sasha Vujacic of Slovenia reacts after a play against the Boston Celtics during the first half of game six of the NBA Finals at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, USA, 15 June 2010. The Celtics lead the series 3-2.

The Los Angeles Lakers opened up their season on Tuesday night against the Houston Rockets, and barely pulled off a victory.  The Lakers won 112-110, thanks to the great heroics of Steve Blake and Shannon Brown.  However, one veteran guard did not see any playing time on Tuesday.  Sasha Vujacic was never subbed into the game, and  saw the whole game from the bench.  Coach Phil Jackson said it was difficult to play all the guards on the team, so he had to leave Vujacic out.  If Brown and Blake continue to play well and impress Coach Phil Jackson, then Vujacic will not be seeing a lot of playing for the Lakers this season.
