The Lakers have not looked good since their buzzer beater at Houston. Even though that was a great win, they snapped their 22-game win streak against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Lakers gave up 47 points against the Timberwolves in the first quarter alone, and adding insult to injury they have lost Steve Nash for two weeks due to a back injury. Tonight they go against the New Orleans Pelicans for the second time within a week. They looked great against the Pelicans for three quarters until Anthony Davis completely took over. As we look forward, can Pau Gasol regain his confidence and help the Lakers to a victory against the Pelicans tonight and contain Davis?
What do the Lakers do without Nash? How will Gasol rebound from poor play and containing another big game from Davis? How will Jordan Hill handle being a starter?

Yesterday after practice Mike D’Antoni hinted he’d start Jordan Hill next to Pau Gasol – looks like that’s the play vs. Pelicans — Eric Pincus (@EricPincus) November 12, 2013
Jordan Hill said he’s going to play the exact same way in a start as he does off the bench. He only has one speed.
