The Lakers finished their road trip 1-2 and are back in Los Angeles tonight to defend their home court against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Steve Nash is expected to be back in the starting line-up tonight after taking the day off against the New Orleans Pelicans, the second of back-to-back games on their three game road trip. After having their hands full with Anthony Davis, the Lakers will have to try and contain Kevin Love who has been playing great averaging 27.2 points, 14.7 rebounds and 5 assists so far this season. The Lakers have been able to dominate the Timberwolves for years but it will be different this time with Kobe Bryant out of the lineup.
What does Mike D’Antoni think about the Laker’s bench outplaying their starters? And, what does Pau Gasol think about his recent poor play?
Mike D’Antoni comparing his bench vs. starters: “They just have played better. They’re also playing against second line guys.”
