The Los Angeles Lakers have now played two games with Kobe Bryant back this season, but have yet to get a win with him on the floor. Although Bryant struggled in his first game back from his Achilles injury, he looked much better in his second game against the Phoenix Suns. However, even with Bryant’s improvement, getting a win tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder will be a tough task.
The Lakers have lost the third point guard on their roster due to an elbow injury suffered by Steve Blake. Bryant is expected to take on the starting point guard role, and his first assignment will be taking on Russell Westbrook. Oklahoma City has yet to lose a game at home this season with a perfect 10-0 record. The purple and gold will look to avoid their first three-game losing streak of the season tonight and hand the Thunder their first home loss.
