Source: Lakers Sign Antawn Jamison to One-Year Deal

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially signed veteran forward Antawn Jamison to a one-year deal with the veteran’s minimum of $1.4 million according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports via Twitter:

This news comes as no surprise to most with Jamison being linked to the Lakers over the past few weeks. The addition of Jamison will greatly improve the bench next season with the veteran forward’s ability to be a force offensively and from beyond the arc.

The real question now is whether or not the Lakers continue to pursue forward/center Jermaine O’Neal. The consensus is that both Jamison and O’Neal are to be signed by the team, but no promises have been made by the storied NBA franchise in terms of bringing both players in.
