Top 10 Los Angeles Lakers Pictures of 2012

The year 2012 is coming to an end and it was a very turbulent time for the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers saw their 2011-12 season come crashing down after the Oklahoma City Thunder beat them in five games, and after that loss it was clear that change had to be made in Los Angeles.

The Lakers’ 2012 off-season was one of the most successful summers in NBA history as the team acquired both Steve Nash and Dwight Howard. Los Angeles instantly became title contenders and many people predicted the Lakers would win their 17th franchise championship in 2012-13.

However, all the euphoria settled down as the Lakers had a very slow start to the season. The team began with a 1-4 record and that led the firing of Mike Brown, who was later replaced with former Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni.

The Lakers still have a lot of work left to do in order to become a championship team and everyone is hoping 2013 will bring the Lakers more successful than the year prior.

Here is a look back at the Top 10 Pictures of 2012.
