Former Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom has spoken recently about wanting to make an NBA comeback and even has an offer from Baron Davis to play for his Drew League team this summer. Whether or not Odom is able to do so remains to be seen, but he does have people rooting for him including reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford.

Crawford, who some think should now be the face of the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year Award, told TMZ that he would love to see Odom back in the NBA. Crawford believes that the basketball world would embrace Odom and noted how talented he is.

One thing that is definite is that the city of Los Angeles definitely embraces Odom anytime he is in public. He has received massive cheers anytime he appears at a Lakers game including showing up at Kobe Bryant’s final game.

It remains to be seen whether Odom can actually pull off a comeback after having to fight for his life just a few months ago. It would surely be a huge success story if he can do so and fans everywhere will surely be rooting for him.
